Pocktide
Privacy, in plain language.
Pocktide stores your records on your devices and, when you use iCloud, in your private Apple Account. We do not run a server that collects your financial records.

What you enter
Pocktide uses the amounts, categories, notes, pockets, budgets, and other records you choose to add. Adding a pocket does not connect to a bank. We do not ask for bank credentials.
Storage and iCloud
Records are stored on your devices. If you use iCloud sync, supported records are also handled by Apple's CloudKit service in the private database associated with your Apple Account. Your paired Apple Watch exchanges supported data with your iPhone. Apple operates these services under its own privacy terms.
Purchases
Apple processes subscription payments. Pocktide checks StoreKit purchase and subscription information, such as the product and access status, to unlock Plus. We do not receive your payment card details.
Device authentication and reminders
Optional app locking uses the system's device authentication. Pocktide receives the result, not your Face ID or Touch ID data. Optional reminders are scheduled locally after you grant notification permission. You can change notification permissions in system settings.
Advertising and diagnostics
Pocktide contains no advertising, ad tracking, or third-party analytics SDK. Local diagnostic messages support troubleshooting; no developer analytics service receives them. Apple may process information when you use its services or choose to share diagnostics with Apple.
Keeping and deleting records
Your records remain until you remove them. The app's reset tools remove app records and local recovery copies. Deletions can also sync to your other devices. Files you export or copy elsewhere remain under your control and must be deleted separately.
